Project365 250: The Point

Pencil and Paper are basic school supplies. I think the pencil can serve as a useful metaphor for the photographer.

A useful pencil is a sharp pencil - a photographer needs to keep their skills sharp to be useful.

A pencil comes with and eraser at the other end. Why? So you can erase your mistakes and try again. Make lots of images, and don't be afraid to delete the junk. Learn something everytime you hit the delete key (or the 'X' if you are a Lightroom user).

"It is better to have enough ideas for some of them to be wrong, than to be always right by having no ideas at all." --Edward De Bono
