Project365 180: Chris Donnelly at the TD Toronto Jazz Festival

Today's lunchtime artist was Chris Donnelly who gave an excellent solo piano concert. I was most intrigued by his metamorphosis composition, in part because of the inspiration from the M. C. Escher art work by the same name.

Great photos--I'm in the crowd. "Metamorphosis" is a brilliant composition. Chris has amazing (esp. hand independence) technique and a delightful repertoire. I'm a big fan. katyb
