Project365 132: Three Fingers

People ask me what I am learning from Project 365. Today's image is a good example. This is not the first time I have tried to capture this art work and Front and York. The last time I tried I used a longer lens and shot from across the street. Although the image itself was 'ok', it lacked depth and because of the distance and angle it contained too much junk. I studied the previous image and decided that I want to be close with a shorter focal length and to shoot up at it. That is what I did and I am much happier with the result.
