My Iced Maple tree and I. I have two large maple trees in my yard. The older one in the front yard is quite sprawling and I was really concerned that it might suffer significant damage, but it fared quite well. The younger one in the back yard (40`tall) is a goner. The main trunk has a 6`vertical split.
