Project365 255: Flat

This week's theme is bicycles. A very concrete concept. I have been reading David duChemin's "A Deeper Frame" and I am going to exercise the concepts discussed in this weeks images.

This is what I see as depth in this image. The angle of the tire as well as the lines in the sidewalk give the sense of movement into the frame. We have the debris at the bottom of the frame followed by the tire and then the streetscape in the distance.

There is a second bicycle wheel on the left edge. At first I thought it added another layer of depth in the left-right dimension, but now not so sure.
