A cloudy day and wet grass makes for very saturated colours.
Advice to anybody wanting to capture the same image for themselves. The ditch is about 3 feet wide and has water about ankle deep. Not that I would know this from first hand experience. I keep a pair of rubber boots in my car. I was driving my wife's SUV.
