Star Field

I have always wanted to experiment with astrophotography. This is the sky from my backyard. 30 second exposure, iso 800, f/3.5. The colour banding isn't in the original, that was added when blogger web-ified it.

The Setting Sun

I love sun sets. As the sun set on May 17th, 2004, I grabbed this shot taken from the parking lot of Unionville Alliance Church, Markham, Ontario.

My gear

The pictures that I will be posting here have been taken with a Canon Digital Rebel. With either the EF-S 18-55 lens, or a EF 75-300. If anything different, I'll say so.

Geese

On May 26 I took a stroll to a wet area in a not yet developed plot of land at the corner of Eglington and Eastgate Parkway.
The Canada geese have been nesting there for a while.
